PI86158: USER IS RECEIVING MESSAGE FMNBA331 PERMANENT I/O ERROR ON INPUT WHEN USING FIND CHANGE (FCH) IN BATCH.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User is receiving message FMNBA331 Permanent I/O error on input
  ECB 7F000000 when using Find Change (FCH) using File Manager in
  batch.
  
  If the customer runs the File Manager step again the FCH works,
  however if the customer copies the members in step 1 and changes
  them in step 2 error message FMNBA331 is received.

Problem conclusion
