Fast Path Advanced Tool and Fast * * Path Online Tools should issue an error * * message to indicate abend/rsn code from * * edit/compression routine. * * 2. Fast Path Advanced Tool Reload * * function issued the HFPP0006E message. * * 3. FPO ODE should issue the OPEN and * * CLOSE call to the edit/compression * * routine only when INIT is specified * * in the COMPRTN keyword. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** 1. When abend occurred in edit/compression routine, it is difficult to identify the error sometimes. Fast Path Advanced Tool and Fast Path Online Tools have been modified to issue an error message to indicate abend/rsn code from edit/compression routine. 2. FPA Reload function failed with the HFPP0006E message when it restarted from the image copy processing for the third restar mode execution sometimes, due to inconsistency in the checkpoint file. FPA Reload function has been modified to remove the inconsistency between the checkpoint records. 3. ODE issued the OPEN and CLOSE call to the edit/compression routine without checking if INIT is specified in the COMPRTN keyword. ODE has been modified to issue these calls only when INIT is specified.
