Error description

  • When trying to create a JDBC connection using the ClearQuest
    Reporting Driver for Change Mangaement (CM) data sources
    example:
    jdbc:cq:9.0.1/SAMPL@http://ServerName:12080/TeamWeb/services/Tea
    m
    
    error:
    "Failed to open the connection"
    
    No packets are created on the network interface either.
    
    Versions affected:
    ClearQuest 9.0.0.4 and ClearQuest 9.0.1
    

Local fix

  • Temporary consider using JNI data sources:
    example:
    jdbc:cq:9.0.1/SAMPL
    
    Temporarily design Crystal reports using CQ 8.0.1.x.
