PI85692: DFHSI1580D PLT PROGRAM DFHLEINI HAS ABENDED, CODE AEXZ. 17/09/05 PTF PECHANGE

Error description

• CICS gets AEXZ abend at startup and issues message:

  DFHSI1580D  PLT program DFHLEINI has abended, code AEXZ.
  .
  Trace shows that DFHLEINI issued an EXEC CICS DISCARD PROGRAM
  request for LE event handler CEEEV000, but the request fails
  because the definition for CEEEV000 was not dynamically
  installed:
  .
  PG 0301 PGDD EXIT - FUNCTION(DELETE_PROGRAM)
          RESPONSE(EXCEPTION) REASON(NOT_DYNAMICALLY_INSTALLED)
  .
  The PPTE for CEEEV000 shows CEEEV000 was system autoinstalled,
  not dynamically installed.

  DFHPGDD is called with a function of DELETE_PROGRAM,
  but not an INSTALL_TYPE option.
  DFHPGDD assumes incorrectly that the INSTALL_TYPE option was
  passed, and uses uninitialised storage to determine the
  INSTALL_TYPE.
  The uninitialised storage happens to be set to X'08' which
  would be PGDD_DYNAM.
  DFHPGDD incorrectly assumes that it was asked to delete a
  "DYNAM" program and enters error handling logic which results
  in a trace entry:
    PG 0301 PGDD EXIT - FUNCTION(DELETE_PROGRAM)
            RESPONSE(EXCEPTION) REASON(NOT_DYNAMICALLY_INSTALLED)
  and an ABENDAEXZ.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHPGDD has been changed to check that the INSTALL_TYPE option
  was specified. If it was not, then INSTALL_TYPE processing is
  not done.
