Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHNQ0001 An abend (code 0C4/AKEA) * * has occurred at offset X'0B54' in * * module DFHNQED * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: . * **************************************************************** CICS was installing a BUNDLE resource, containing a Java application which used the @CICSProgram annotation. This causes a Liberty thread to create a new program resource in CICS. This occurred under a thread which did not have a transaction environment (see APAR PI85472). The XRSINDI global user exit was invoked, which made XPI ENQUEUE and DEQUEUE calls. These cannot succeed due to the lack of a transaction environment. The ENQUEUE produces DFHNQ0002 severe error code x'0215', as is intended when no transaction environment is available, but the DEQUEUE request results in an S0C4 protection exception. . Additional Keywords: abend0C4 abendS0C4 msgDFHNQ0001 NQ0001 offset x'0CAE'
Problem conclusion
DFHNQED has been updated to produce DFHNQ0002 severe error code 0215 on a DEQUEUE in the case where no transaction environment is available.
