Comments
The GETSYSWORD built-in function is modified to add the new keyword PROCSTEP that returns the value of the job step name that calls the JCL procedure. The Enterprise PL/I Language Reference manual, SC27-8940-00, will be updated as follows: In chapter "Built-in functions, pseudovariables, and subroutines" section "Descriptions of individual built-in functions, pseudovariables, and subroutines" Modify the built-in function GETSYSWORD with the following: - add a new keyword PROCSTEP after the STEPNAME keyword. - add the following paragraphs: The STEPNAME keyword returns the step name that calls the PL/I program. The PROCSTEP keyword returns the job step name that calls the JCL procedure which has the step that executes the PL/I program. If it is not called from a JCL procedure, a null string is returned.
