PI84456: CPSM: EYUXL09XX ABEND SUMMARY RECORDS MAY BE INCORRECT

• If an abend occurs in module DFHRSSR with the following
  combination,
  CPSM 5.3 & CICS 5.2
  CPSM 5.4 & CICS 5.2
  CPSM 5.4 & CICS 5.3
  the EYUXL09xx abend summary records may not be correct.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If an abend occurs in module DFHRSSR in *
  *                      a MAS, then the EYUXL09xx abend summary *
  *                      records may not be correct.             *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all MASes must be restarted. Note      *
  *                 that the restarts do not need to occur at    *
  *                 the same time.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  When an abend occurs in a MAS in module DFHRSSR, then module
  EYU9XLRS is called during recovery.  If the MAS is running a
  higher release of CPSM than CICS, for example if the CPSM
  release is CTS 5.3 but the CICS release is CTS 5.2, then
  EYU9XLRS is supposed to transfer control to a module
  specifically for that release of CICS.  A logic error in
  EYU9XLRS causes EYU9XLRS to always process the request itself.
  As a result, if the CPSM release is higher than the CICS
  release, the control block mappings may be incorrect and the
  resulting EYUXL09xx messages displayed may be incorrect.
  

Problem conclusion

• Module EYU9XLRS has been updated to correct the logic error.
