PI84360: ABENDS0C4 IN BSYPPUE0 AT IMS STARTUP

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ABENDS0C4 in BSYPPUE0 at IMS startup.  The problem occurs
  when attempting to locate the IMS SSCD and mistakenly using the
  SSCD entry for the DLISAS address space.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During the IMS control region           *
  *                      initialization when BSYPPUE0 scans the  *
  *                      subsystem vector table  (SSCT) looking  *
  *                      for the IMS control region SSCD, if the *
  *                      SSCT entry for the DLISAS region is     *
  *                      found prior to the IMS control region,  *
  *                      an ABENDS0C4 will occur.  This same     *
  *                      abend can occur when processing         *
  *                      BSYFLGX0 also during IMS control region *
  *                      initialization.                         *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  During the IMS control region initialization when BSYPPUE0
  scans the subsystem vector table (SSCT) looking for the IMS
  control region SSCD, if the SSCT entry for the DLISAS region is
  found prior to the IMS control region, an ABENDS0C4 will occur.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to locate the SSCT for the IMS control
  region.
