    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Severe error (X'1020') in DFHDSAC, *
    * abend AKEA in DFHSJIN or JVM server *
    *                      fails to disable.                       *
    ****************************************************************
This APAR fixes the following problems related to JVM server
    shutdown:

     - A severe error (code X'1020') has occurred in module DFHDSAC.
     - An abend (code ---/AKEA) has occurred at offset X'1596' in
       module DFHSJIN.
     - JVM server with Health Center attached using jrmp transport
       fails to PHASEOUT ('DISABLING' indefinitely).
     - A JVM server disable KILL is required to terminate long
running workloads using JCICS which should respond to PURGE
       or FORCEPURGE.
     - A JVM server disable KILL is required to terminate long
running workloads in Java which should respond to PURGE or
       FORCEPURGE.
This APAR also resolves the following problem:

DFHXM0002 A severe error (code X'100C') has occurred in module
    DFHXMIQ.
      XM 100C XMIQ *EXC* - Lock_error -
    FUNCTION(INQUIRE_TRANSACTION)
This problem occurs when DFHDSAT ISSUE_KILL_MESSAGE calls
DFHXMIQM recursively, causing a duplicate attempt to
    acquire the XMLOCK lock.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS has been modified to fix the defects described above.
