APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using the PACING= statement to slow the rate messages are
inserted to the IMS message queue, the expected slower rate
of inserting is not occurring. This is due to a problem with
the first message waiting too long, which therefore is causing
the next and subsequent messages to not wait.

Problem conclusion

  • Install the APAR to receive the fix to the QCF Pacing
functionality for use in a QCF LOAD job. The Pacing parameter
    should work according to design
