Error description

  • Doing an EXEC CICS REQUEST PASSTICKET is failing with an INVREQ
    and RESP2=200. The RESP2=200 would occur if the Program is
    not defined as FULLAPI.

    This restriction should not be in place.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: REQUEST PASSTICKET command fails when *
    *                      issued from a DPLSUBSET program.        *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: .                                            *
    ****************************************************************
    In the reported problem, a LINKed to program was defined
    with an EXECUtionset of Dplsubset. Certain EXEC CICS commands
    are prohibited in a Dplsubset program but REQUEST PASSTICKET
    is not one of them. When the program was driven, the CICS EXEC
    INTERFACE (EI) layer of code rejected the request with an
    EIBRESP of INVREQ and EIBRESP2 of 200.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHESN has been modified and will no longer reject an EXEC CICS
    REQUEST PASSTICKET request when it originates from a program
    defined with an EXECUtionset of Dplsubset.

    The VERIFY TOKEN and REQUEST ENCRYPTPTKT have also been updated
    so they are allowed when EXECUtionset is Dplsubset.
