  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enhances Db2 for z/OS support *
  *                      for accelerating queries to IBM Db2     *
  *                      Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0   *
  *                      in the following areas:                 *
  *                      (1) AOT support.                        *
  *                      (2) Explain support.                    *
  *                      (3) SQLCODE -4742 with reason 11 for    *
  *                          Hex().                              *
  *                      (4) SQLCODE -104 for SELECT INTO        *
  *                          statement.                          *
  *                      (5) Improve Sum() offloading.           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR enhances Db2 for z/OS support for accelerating
  queries to IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0
  in the following areas:
  (1) Full AOT support on IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for
      z/OS V6.1.0. In addition, BINARY, VARBINARY, DECFLOAT,
      and ROWID data types are supported in the CREATE AOT
      statement.
  (2) Full Explain support for offloaded queries on
      IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0. In this
      APAR, users are able to explain offloaded queries on IBM
      DB2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0 in the same
      way as in the previous version of the accelerator.
  (3) For IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0, when
      the accelerator is not in active status, SQLCODE -4742
      with reason code 11 was returned for HEX().
      For example,
             SET CURRENT QUERY ACCELERATION=ALL;
             SELECT hex('A')  FROM T1;
      This APAR fixes the above problem.
  (4) SQLCODE -104 is returned for SELECT INTO statement during
      offloading to IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS
      V6.1.0.
      For example: EXEC SQL
                   SELECT MAX(C1), MIN(C2 )
                   INTO :MAX_C1, :MIN_C2
                   FROM  T1
                   Order By 1;
      This APAR fixes the above problem.
  (5) Sum() function offloading improvement.
      When the input paremeter of Sum() is INTEGER or SMALL
      INTEGER, IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0
      returns BIGINT while Db2 z/OS returns INTEGER. This might
      cause possible incorrect output when Sum() is offloaded
      to IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0. This APAR
      fixes the problem by adding a CAST during query offloading
      conversion to IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V6.1.0.
