Error description

  • Information needs to be added to metatype file to update
    Knowledge Centre information.

Add options and description as follows:
    <---------------begin------------------>
Attribute name Data type Default value
    Description
    addressExcludeList string
Specifies the list of addresses that are not allowed to make
    inbound

connections on this channel. IPv4 or IPv6 addresses can be
    specified.

All values in an IPv4 or PIv6 address must be represented by
    a
    number

or an asterisk, which is the wildcard character.

    hostNameExcludeList string
Specifies the list of host names that are not allowed to
    make

    not
    appear

elsewhere in the address. For example, *.ibm.com is valid,
    but
    *.ibm.*

    is invalid

The TCP Channel provides the ability to define four access
    lists:
address include, address exclude, hostname include, and hostname
exclude. None of these were documented on the KnowledgeCenter.

Problem conclusion

  • The documentation was modified to include details on the access
lists. This new information will be included under the "tcpOptio
    topic.
