PI81401: CONTOKEN NOT UNIQUE ERRORS OCCUR ON BIND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying APAR PI76856 (PTF UI46560), the product bind job
  may receive duplicate CONTOKEN errors:
   DSNT243I > BIND ERROR FOR PACKAGE=<package-name> CONTOKEN =
  '0C7C7C3E06D2F340'X IS NOT UNIQUE SO IT CANNOT BE CREATED
   The error occurs on packages HLOIDB2C, HLOIGIDX, HLOIROWK,
  HLOIRBLT, HLOIPSRW, and HLOIICW2.
  To resolve this issue, you may APPLY APAR PI81401 (PTF UI48271)
  and re-run BIND. This APAR allows the bind to be done without a
  FREE on Plan/Packages.
  

Local fix

• When your SMPE is at APAR PI76856 the workaround is to free
  existing plan and packages before rebinding to avoid the
  duplicate CONTOKEN id.
