Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Migration Tooling * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WASPostUpgrade fails when * * AllAuthenticatedUsersInTrustedRealmsExt * * is duplicated in the source config. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** There should be only one entry in the admin-authz.xml file for the AllAuthenticatedUsersInTrustedRealmsExt object. When there are two entries it triggers a comparison for equality method in WASPostUpgrade. Since it is not defined it throws a NoSuchMethodException and quits.
Problem conclusion
Although there is suppose to be only one entry for the AllAuthenticatedUsersInTrustedRealmsExt, somehow a second one was defined. This object is either there or it is not. So the second is really just ignored in the runtime. But not by the migraiton code. We added an ArePrimaryKeysEqual method to handle multiple entries. It alway will return true, this will avoid the exception and failure during WASPostUpgrade. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.12 and 9.0.0.5.
