Error description

  • Asynchronous log records that have a level set to FINE or
    below, are not logged in SystemOut.log
    

Local fix

Problem summary

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Asynchronous log records that have a    *
    *                      level set to FINE or below, do not      *
    *                      get logged in SystemOut.log.            *

    The asynchronous log records are logged, only when the *=FINE
    trace specification is set, because the asynchronous logs are
    redispatched through the root logger from the WsLogger object.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The issue was fixed, by dispatching the asynchronous log
    records through an anonymous logger, instead of the root logger.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.14, 8.5.5.13, and 9.0.0.5.  Please refer to the
