Error description

  • You are using a wildcard in the CEMT inquire terminal command
    for more then one character  CEMT I TERM(xx*)  In doing so you
    find the NQName value is not displayed for all terminals.  When
    using a wild card for one character position CEMT INQ
    TERM(xxx*) then you do get the NQNAME value.  If you do a CEMT
    inquire for a specific terminal CEMT I  TERM(xxxx) all is well.

    CICS INQUIRE TERMINAL START/NEXT/END logic may not
    always return all the terminal attributes.
    

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEIQST has been changed to ensure that all terminal attributes
    are returned to CEMT.
