Error description

  • The solution has three parts:
    1. A REXX EXEC parses the output from IBM Tivoli Discovery
Library Adapter for z/OS (z/OS DLA) to produce a list of
discovered IMS, DB2, CICS, MQ, and z/OS system names. Using z/OS
DLA as the source for discovered systems is optional. The list
of system names and attributes can be generated using other
    methods.
    2. Additional system definition attributes, such as IMS RECON
and DB2 bootstrap data set names, must be provided manually.
These attributes are used to complete the system definitions
and make them ready for use.
    3. A batch take-up utility populates the system definition
    libraries:
Input - The list of discovered systems from step 1 with the
               additional attributes from step 2.
Output- Updates to the IMS and CICS repositories, where the
systems are defined and ready for automated file
               selections.
