**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM HTTP Server users that have SSL * * enabled * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Dual-Mode ECDSA/RSA fails with 'SSLV2 * * open'. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this fix if SSL is enabled. * **************************************************************** Clients may send an "unsupported_certificate" alert back to IHS if an ECDSA based certificate is sent on a connection where the Client Hello didn't indicate it was an acceptable algorithm.
Problem conclusion
An updated GSKit 8.0.50.79 is being provided to resolve the issue. This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs: - 8.0.0.14 - 8.5.5.12 - 9.0.0.5
