conditions are met:
 - APAR PI77214 is applied
 - Non-HALDB OSAM data set contains no segment (empty)
 - RANSIZE control statement is not specified

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

The HSSR engine of HP Unload gets ABEND878 reason code=14 when
all the following conditions are met:
- APAR PI77214 is applied
- Non-HALDB OSAM data set contains no segment (empty)
- RANSIZE control statement is not specified
The HSSR engine of HP Unload attempts to obtain the internal
control block. But, a calculation of the control block size is
incorrectly.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The HSSR engine of HP Unload has been modified to calculate the
control block size correctly.
