APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A column is added to a UNICODE-table (UTF-16) and the column
will be part of the key so not appended to table. Because of
this change the table has to be recreated. ADBL generates the
right scenario: UNLOAD / DROP / CREATE / LOAD. When the unload
is done by HPU, the wrong LOAD statement generated.

Local fix

  • Use DB2 Unload to unload data.

When converting a LOAD statement generated by HPU
with a GRAPHIC NOT NULL column, the wrong LOAD
statment is generated. The POSITION parameter does
not reflect that the GRAPHIC column uses two bytes per
GRAPHIC character.
