PI79814: AN SQLCODE 100 OCCURS DURING SUBSCRIPTION STARTUP IF A TABLE IS DROPPED BUT LEFT DEFINED TO THE SUBSCRIPTION.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a table is DROPped from DB2 but left defined to a
  subscription, then when that subscription is started, it will
  issue a message describing an SQLCODE 100 errror.  A diagnostic
  dump will be produced naming Module(CHCSDTDB),
  MaintLvl(PI77397), Line(1264) in its title.  The subscription
  will then terminate.
  

Local fix

• Remove the DROPped table from the subscription.

  A diagnostic dump is issued when a table no longer exists  but
  is still known to a subscription when the subscription starts.
  

Problem conclusion

• The diagnostic dump will no longer be issued in this situation,
  behaviour will revert to the original, a message will be issued
  naming the table and the subscription will end.
