Error description

  • When deferred loading on reference fields (aka "lazy loading")
is enabled and custom queries been defined, running a list view
query that has no results does not display the columns defined
    in the query.
There are two ways to run the query:

    1. If the query that has zero results is run from a button in
the list view control (this is how it can be run it after
opening the record form), following the execution, the list view
will show the columns corresponding to the default query, based
on the schema design, and not the display fields defined in the
    query.

    2. If the query is run from the context menu (this is how it may
be run if another query have been run already), following the
execution, the list view will maintain the column names from the
    previous query.

The expected behavior is that, even if there are no results, the
list view should show the column headers defined in the query
    that has just been run.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.0.1.4.
In the case of a CQ Web List View Query returning no data, the
resultset columns defined in that List View Query are now
    displayed.
