PI78838: DB2 OBJECT COMPARE PROCESSING MAY DISPLAY ERROR: ADB7706E ADBCDTS DOES NOT SUPPORT XXXXX STATEMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If Object Compare is using DDL that has been generated with a
  semicolon in the middle of a line, it disregards anything
  following the semicolon, and begins reading again at the next
  line.  This may result in the following error messages during
  Compare processing:
  
  ADB7706E ADBCDTS does not support XXXXX statement
  
  where XXXXX is the word beginning the next line in the DDL.

  When using the DDL reader to read DDL statements the
  following can occur:
  
  1- Statements starting after a semicolon are not recognized.
  
  2- Multiple blanks between the CREATE/ALTER and FUNCTION /
  PROCEDURE statements can cause error messages to be produced.
  
  3- If the only or last DDL statement isn't terminated with a
  semicolon it is ignored.
