APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In WebSphere 9.0.0.3, the default value for the
  verboseModeGarbageCollection setting has changed.
  Additionally, on distributed platforms, the logging behavior
  for the setting has changed. Currently migration does not
  inform the user of this change, and what behavior they should
  expect to see.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  Customers are unaware of this default change and therefore may
  see behavior changes in the server.
  

Problem conclusion

• Starting in V9004, migration should warn customers of this
  Verbose Garbage Collection default behavior change in 9003.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
