Error description

  • Customer reports high cpu usage and high io counts on an idle
zosmf server.  Files within the application directory containing
persistence files  named izu.zdf are being updated repeatedly.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After installing PTF UI43814 on V2R1 or *
*                      installing PTF UI42847 on V2R2, a       *
*                      restart of z/OSMF will launch the       *
*                      Cloud Provisioning plugin, which        *
*                      continues to modify a                   *
*                      persistence file, causing CPU and I/O   *
*                      usage on an otherwise idle z/OSMF       *
*                      server.                                 *
