APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When attempting to rebuild the IBM Rational ClearCase
  MultiVersion Filesystem (MVFS) after applying a vendor kernel
  update to a SuSE 12 SP2 host, the MVFS will not build.
  

Local fix

• Edit the RATL_EXTRAFLAGS line to add -DRATL_COMPAT32. for
  example:
  
  RATL_EXTRAFLAGS := -DRATL_SUSE -DRATL_VENDOR_VER=1202 -
  DRATL_EXTRA_VER=0 -m64 -DRATL_COMPAT32

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in ClearCase versions 8.0.1.15, 9.0.0.5,
  and 9.0.1.1
