Error description

  • Creation of a stored procedure fails with RC=12. Based on the
    output provided by CMBatch it's impossible to get to know
    what's wrong.
    
    ALTER PROCEDURE gets the same error message as the CREATE Proc
    stmt.

    *                 statements.                                  *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When importing change statements using  *
    *                      Change Management Batch interface,      *
    *                      issues with delimiter location and      *
    *                      error ADB9600E when processing a        *
    *                      CREATE PROCEDURE statement are          *
    *                      addressed.                              *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    When importing change statements using the CM Batch interface,
    the following problems may be encountered:
    
    1. A statement or part of a Statement entered beyond the
    delimiter is ignored when more than one statement is entered
    on a given line.
    
    2. When the only statement in the  DDL file, or the last
    statement in the DDL file, does not end with a delimiter, that
    statement is ignored.
    
    3. Processing a CREATE PROCEDURE statement results in error
    ADB9600E / msgadb9600e:
    
    ADB9600E Change Management can not import statements that are
    in the delta change file. Contact IBM Software Support and
    provide the delta change  file.
    
    4. Importing a DDL file with a CREATE PROCEDURE statement
    fails if there is more than one blank between the words CREATE
    and PROCEDURE.
    
    5. Importing a DDL file with a record starting with CREATE in
    position 1 and the statement continuing in the next record
    fails with the following message:
    
    ADB2CID - Now terminating
