PI77898: ADMIN TOOL CHANGE MANAGEMENT IMPORT/ANALYZE MAY DISPLAY ERROR: ADB7706E ADBCDTS DOES NOT SUPPORT XXXXX STATEMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If DDL is generated with a semicolon in the middle of a line,
  the Admin Tool DDL reader disregards anything following the
  semicolon, and begins reading again at the next line.  This may
  result in the following error messages during Change Management
  Import/Analyze:
  
  ADB7706E ADBCDTS does not support XXXXX statement
  
  where XXXXX is the word beginning the next line in the DDL.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When importing change statements        *
  *                      using the CM Batch interface, the       *
  *                      following problems are encountered:     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      1. A statement or part of the           *
  *                      statement entered beyond the            *
  *                      delimiter is ignored when more          *
  *                      than one statement is entered           *
  *                      on a given line.                        *
  *                                                              *
  *                      2. When the only statement in the       *
  *                      DDL file or the last statement          *
  *                      in the DDL file did not end with a      *
  *                      delimiter, that statement is            *
  *                      ignored.                                *

  *                      3. Processing a CREATE                  *
  *                      PROCEDURE statement resulted            *
  *                      in a ADB9600E / msgadb9600e             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The following problems are encountered when using CM Batch:
  
  1. A statement, or part of a statement, entered beyond
  the delimiter is ignored when more than one statement is
  entered on a given line.
  
  2. When the only statement in the DDL file, or the last
  statement in the DDL file, does not end with a delimiter,
  that statement is ignored.
  
  3.  Processing a CREATE PROCEDURE statement resulted
  in a ADB9600E / msgadb9600e error:
  
  ADB9600E Change Management can not import statements
  that are in the delta change file. Contact IBM Software
  Support and provide the delta change file.
  ADB2CID - Now terminating
