Error description

  • ABENDS0C4 DFSTMS00 near x'19ac' with a QCF UNLOAD job running
and after IMS V14 PI51948 / UI42428 is installed.  IMS APAR
PI51948 expands the size of the DFSTLS block by 96 bytes and
the QCF program IQCCCVCE is not accounting for it, therefore
the S0C4 abend.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: QCF UNLOAD job causes ABEND0C4 in       *
*                      module DFSTMS00 after apply of IMS APAR *
*                      PI51948. IQCCCVCE is recompiled using   *
*                      the new IMS DFSTLS macro.               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
IMS has changed the area length of IMS MACRO DFSTLS area from
x-0218- to x-0260-. This new length has to be used in QCF
programs.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Installation of this APAR will prevent an IMSABEND0C4 of the IMS
control region when running the QCF UNLOAD job on IMS V14.
