PI77675: DB2 ADMIN TOOL - CM/MTC IMPORT USING TARGET MASKS PROBLEM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When doing an import of a change to a target or target group
  where any of the targets have masks is not working. The
  generated batch import JCL is missing the TARGET_MASK_OWNER
  and TARGET_MASK_NAME values below each target in the CM
  batch generated import job. If the target has a mask,
  these values should be present for those targets.

  Importing a change to a target or target group on panel
  ADB2CRO 'CM - Register Options', and specifying 'Multi-target
  change' = 'YES', the generated batch import JCL is missing the
  TARGET_MASK_OWNER and TARGET_MASK_NAME parameters for the
  targets which have specified masks.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved that the parameters
  TARGET_MASK_OWNER and TARGET_MASK_NAME can be generated
  in the batch import JCL for the targets which have
  specified masks.
