APAR status

Error description

• Customer is migrating from WebSphere 8.5 to 9. They came
  across a problem regarding CDI extensions. One of their
  extensions access another extension. This works with
  OpenWebBeans in WebSphere 8.5, but not with Weld in WebSphere
  9.

  A CDI observer that works correctly inside a war ceases to

Problem conclusion

• The code that creates Bean Definition Archives was not
  creating a nessacary link between jar files and war files.
  This has been corrected
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.4 and liberty 17.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
