APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The ConnectionTTL property is only visable if the admin sets
    the reducer property. This is misleading since if the
    ConnectionTTL property isn't set within the XML, the binary
    assumes a 28 second limit.

    * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application *
    *                  Server V7.0, V8.0, V8.5 and V9.0            *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ConnectionTTL property doesn't show *
    *                      up within Plugin-cfg.xml file.          *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The only time the ConnectionTTL property shows up within the
    Plugin-cfg.xml file is when the property is set within the
    admin console. See PM76420 for details. This is misleading
    in that the plugin binary will assume a default value even if
    not present.
