Error description

  • When a TEMPLATE statement like the one shown below is coded for
a SYSREC dataset, the Loader ends up loading data from all
generations of the GDG. This happens anytime a relative
generation is specified on the TEMPLATE. The work around is to
eliminate the TEMPLATE statement and instead specify the
relative generation dataset on a DD statement in the loader JCL.
Sample TEMPLATE statement that results in the processing error:
    TEMPLATE DNXC0SS3 DSN('DB2O.CDMS.RA500001.COPYMSTR.UNLD(+0)')
    DISP(OLD,KEEP,KEEP)
This APAR also addresses the following issue:
A load job will fail with dynamic allocation errors when the
    following conditions are met:
    1) The table is non-partitioned
    2) IDAA_ONLY is specified
    3) The SYSREC dataset is on tape
    4) A TEMPLATE statement is used to specify the SYSREC dataset
    5) ACCEL_LOAD_TASKS > 1 (either because it was explicitly set or
is defaulting to a value in the options file).
