PI74709: SELECTING TO UPDATE MULTIPLE ROLES IN AN APPLICATION CAUSES THE ORIGINAL USERS TO BE UPDATED INCORRECTLY

Error description

The following panel for any application will display this
behavior:

Enterprise Applications > ivtApp > Security role to user/group
mapping

If multiple roles are chosen to be updated the existing users
are removed and repopulated with the new ones.

*                  manage multiple roles in an application.    *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The administrative console allows you   *
*                      to Map multiples roles at the same      *
*                      time. This works differently than       *
*                      when mapping one role and is            *
*                      confusing.                              *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  Only map one role at a time when maping     *
*                  users to roles in an application using the  *
*                  administrative console.                     *
****************************************************************
The administrative console allows multiple roles to be mapped
at the same time but it MUST work differently than when
mapping one role. This is confusing, so the ability to map
multiple roles is being disabled.

Problem conclusion

We now only allow the console user to Map one role at a time.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.5.5.12 and 9.0.0.4.  Please refer to the
