  (SPT01_INLINE_LENGTH) with a value of 1
  
  the SMF record for SYSPARM shows a value of x'FFFF'
  (-1)

  DB2 sets "-1" value for  SPT01_INLINE_LENGTH in case  when
  customer specifies "NOINLINE" for this  parameter in DSNTIPA2
  installation panel.  SYSPARMS TRACE report should also display
  "-1" value instead of 1.
  

Problem conclusion

• SYSPARMS TRACE report should  display "-1" value for
  SPT01_INLINE_LENGTH parameter when customer sets  "NOINLINE" in
  DSNTIPA2 DB2 installation panel. This point also should be
  reflected in documentation.
