PI73985: QCF UNLOAD FAILS WITH IQC4999E RC=0008

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Unload fails with the following message:
  IQC4999E MSRPRQCF RC=0008 AIBRC=00F0 AIBRS=A004 MSGO=IQCXCTRL
                        or
  IQC4999E MSRPRQCF RC=0008 AIBRC=0000 AIBRS=0000 MSGO=IQCXCTRL
  .
  This is a result of CQS adding a x'04' return code with reason
  x'13C' upon browsing the queues.  A QUERY or BROWSE of the
  queues, which happens before the UNLOAD will result in the
  above error.  QCF will be corrected to handle the new return
  code.

  *                 "destination is busy" error during a QCF     *
  *                 QUERY or BROWSE of the queues. Also,         *
  *                 APAR will create an additional x'6701'       *
  *                 log record to track additional               *
  *                 information about messages.                  *

  During a QUERY or BROWSE of the queues, CQS added a new reason
  code x'13C' for the x'04' return code which QCF did not check
  on but now does. This event led to QCF's UNLOAD to end with
  RC=0008 and at times AIBRC=00F0, AIBRS=A004
  

Problem conclusion

• Install the APAR to fix this error during a QCF QUERY or
  BROWSE of the queues.
