Error description

• z/OS Connect EE returns status code 500 on data transformation
  error, conflicting with real "Internal Server Error"
  
  On the client side, it is not possible to tell if this is due
  to a service being permanently down (i.e. the CICS region is
  down) or a problem relating to a specific request.
  
  This limits the ability to use automation to handle exceptions
  based on status codes.

  The implementation of the status codes in z/OS Connect EE V2

  determine the cause of an error and take the appropriate

• z/OS Connect EE has been updated to return more informative
  status codes. The default setting for new attribute
  "useGenericError" is set to true to preserve the current
  behavior. To activate this feature set "useGenericError" to
  false.
