PI72598: DB2 OBJECT COMPARE - ADB2CMO DETECTED AN ONCODE CONDITION 451 INEXTEND

Error description

• While running DB2 Object Comapre, the job abended:
  ADB2CMO detected an ONCODE condition  451 in
           EXTEND at xxxxx
  and ended with RC12 and an ERROR MESSAGE:
   ADB7380E Module ADB2CMP - Severe error Compare  has been
  stopped.
  
   IBM0451S  ONCODE=451  The STORAGE condition was raised.
  
  This APAR is to give an ERROR message instead of an ONCODE.
  

Local fix

• Set REGION=0M in jobcard.

  When comparing large objects, the region size for compare
  job is small which cause an ONCODE451 / oncode=451 error:

  condition 451 in EXTEND at 17485
  
  IBM0451S ONCODE=451 The STORAGE condition was
  raised.
  From entry point EXTEND at statement 17485 at compile unit
  offset >offset< at entry offset >offset< at

  ERROR condition was raised
  

Problem conclusion

• The ONCODE=451 error message is improved. The new
  message is:
  
  "Oncode 451 - Insufficient storage - check REGION
  size" is displayed.
