Error description

• DB2 Administration Tool incorrectly generates keyword
  APPLCOMPAT(V11R1) when generating bind jobs under DB2 V11
  Compatibility Mode.  This results in error DSNT758I
  :ssid DSNTBAP ATTEMPT TO USE NEW COMMAND OR OPTION
  (APPLCOMPAT(V11R1)) BEFORE NEW FUNCTION MODE.
  

Local fix

• Manually remove APPLCOMPAT(V11R1) from BIND statement before
  running BIND jobs.s

  During the customization process when using DB2 Administration
  Tool for z/OS Version 12, Release 1 with DB2 v11 conversion
  mode, the option APPLCOMPAT(V11R1) is added into BIND PACKAGE
  statements incorrectly, which results in a BIND error and messag
  DSNT758I / msgdsnt758i:
  
  'DSNT758I :DB2T DSNTBAP ATTEMPT TO USE NEW
  COMMAND OR OPTION (APPLCOMPAT(V11R1)) BEFORE
  NEW FUNCTION MODE'.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
  
  1. A new parameter APPLCOMPAT is added into panel CCQPDB2 'DB2
  Parameters', under the section 'DB2 Admin Tool - Bind Plans
  and Packages'.
  
  2. If the user specifies a value in the new parameter
  APPLCOMPAT, the APPLCOMPAT option with the specified value
  will be generated in the BIND PACKAGE statements.  Otherwise,
  the APPLCOMPAT option will not be generated explicitly.
