APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When displaying a package in DB2 Admin and using the line
command B (Bind) and then in the Bind Parameters change the
membername (and action ADD) in order to add a new package to
the collection the action fails with message 'No rows returned'.

Local fix

  • Remove '?' characters from the ENABLE, DISABLE and En/disable
fields on panel ADB21KR

When using panel ADB21KB 'Bind Package', the message
"No rows returned" occurs when ACTION = ADD and
any of the following fields have a "?" as a value:

ENABLE . . . . . . . . . _____
DISABLE . . . . . . . . ______
En/disable names . . _____

Problem conclusion

  • Problem has been resolved.
If ACTION = ADD, the BIND process will check the following
input fields for a value of "?" and force it to blank:

ENABLE . . . . . . . . . _____
DISABLE . . . . . . . . ______
En/disable names . . _____
