Error description

  • ABENDS0C4 IPIIPROC after label REC38 or x'6404' into IPIIPROC.
During BMP-MPP program-switch processing, if the parent BMP
transaction abends, subsequent access to the program-switch
chain will return unpredictable results, including abend S0C4 if
the program-switch transactions were previously released.

Problem conclusion


    

  • In the case of a BMP-MPP program-switch where the BMP
transaction abends the program-switch chain has been
invalidated by previous processing and is reset.
