Error description

When a server is running in debug mode and a breakpoint is
set in a JSP file, the debugger does not stop at the
breakpoint during a request.

When WebSphere Application Server is running in debug mode and a
breakpoint is set in a JSP file of an application, the debugger
in WebSphere Development Tools (WDT) does not stop at the
breakpoint during a request for the JSP.

Problem conclusion

The JSP Container code was modified to recompile the JSP file if
the server is started in debug mode.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 16.0.0.4.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
