Error description

  • When using IIDR CDC Live Audit replication from a non-DB2 z/OS
source to CDC z/OS, the Aud_TIMESTAMP of the before image is
0001-01-01-00.00.00 instead of the actual timestamp.

*                      source to a DB2 z/OS target the         *
*                      Aud_TIMESTAMP of the before image is    *
*                      0001-01-01-00.00.00 instead of the      *
*                      actual timestamp.                       *

* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY CORRECTIVE SERVICE                     *
****************************************************************
Some IIDR CDC replication engines do not have separate
timestamps for the before and after images, and as a result
only send a single timestamp to the target. In the absence of
a separate before image timestamp the CDC z/OS target engine
should use the single timestamp for both images.

Problem conclusion

  • Module CHCTDTMP was updated to correct the issue.
