APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The customer logs onto the CQWeb URL (ClearQuest version
9.0.0.2) with admin credentials and wants to disable "Choose
configuration context" option on the CQWeb home page. However,
this option is not getting disabled even after making the
changes in the 'Site Configuration'.

The same thing works as per the expected behavior on CQWeb
version 8.0.1.11 and below.

Steps to reproduce:
* Logon to CQWeb 9.0.0.2 with admin credentials
* Click on Site Administration > Configuration
* Click on 'Application Options' tab
* Check the box against 'Enable Configurations support for
OSLC', and click on 'Apply'. As per the expected behavior, this
should pop-up 'Choose configuration context' option on the home
page of the CQWeb, on the left-hand side of 'Site
Administration' option. However, whether the 'Enable
Configurations support for OSLC' box is checked or unchecked,
the 'Choose configuration context' option will be visible on the
home page of CQWeb.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.0.0.4.
