APAR status

Error description

• After clone migration the Application Servers from the old and
  new release are both automatically propagating their plugin
  information to the same WebServer causing it to switch back
  and forth.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The old and new clone environments are  *
  *                      competing for control of the web        *
  *                      server traffic.                         *

  Clone migrations are leaving web server automatic plug-in
  generation and propagation enabled in both the old and new
  environments. This can cause competion for web server traffic,
  and might send traffic to the new environment before the user
  is ready to have it handle traffic.
  

Problem conclusion

• Updated the Post Upgrade process to change managed and
  unmanaged web servers to MANUAL plug-in propagation and
  generation in newly cloned environment. Then generate a file
  with custom wsadmin commands that will re-enable AUTOMATIC
  generation and propagation in the new environment while
  disabling it in the old environment.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
