  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Bad Slot State During Connection        *
  *                      leading to an infinite WAIT.            *

  *                      with volatile release determination     *
  *                      code, a BAD SLOT condition may arise    *
  *                      The BAD SLOT condition upon completion  *
  *                      places the repository code into an      *
  *                      infinite wait state.                    *
