Error description

Running bin/logViewer.sh -includeExtensions component command
will get following error when component is not assigned a
value.
Pattern can not be null
The error is issued because a null pointer is not handled by
logViewer.

In the option -includeExtensions component, the component
should be assigned a value. In this case, the component
value is null and the error is caused by the null pointer
which is not handled by logViewer.

Problem conclusion

The fix is to handle the null value.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.5.5.11 and 9.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
