PI68923: UNABLE TO UPDATE ADMIN SCHEDULER TASKS CREATED BY ANOTHER USER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Task Creator is not set properly when using the
  'Current SQLID' field on the Automation Tool main menu.
  This prevents tasks from being created that can be updated by
  other users.
  .
  This APAR also corrects a problem with message HAAM719I
  (Task has been updated) being incorrectly issued when
  the update was unsuccessful.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Prior to applying this APAR, a          *
  *                      non-authorized USER (one without        *
  *                      SYSADM, SYSOPER or SYSCTRL auth)        *
  *                      specifies a valid CURRENT SQLID on      *
  *                      panel HAA$MAIN and attempts to update   *
  *                      an Admin Scheduler task created by      *
  *                      another USER - who created the task     *
  *                      using the same CURRENT SQLID.  The      *
  *                      update appears to succeed, when in      *
  *                      fact, it did not.                       *
  *                      After applying this APAR, the update    *
  *                      will succeed   provided that the        *
  *                      Admin Scheduler task was created after  *
  *                      applying this APAR/PTF.                 *
  *                      Another issue fixed by this APAR is as  *
  *                      follows:                                *
  *                      Previously, a non-authorized USER (one  *
  *                      w/out SYSADM, SYSOPER, or SYSCTRL auth) *
  *                      attempts to update an Admin Scheduler   *
  *                      task that was created by another user   *
  *                      and it appears to have succeeded when,  *
  *                      in fact, it did not.  After applying    *
  *                      this APAR, the problem just described   *
  *                      will result in a WTO message            *
  *                      that the Stored Procedure encountered   *
  *                      when attempting to perform the update.  *
