Error description

A NullPointerException is thrown when the 64 bit JDK cannot
start on a 32 bit machine.

*                      generated on a 64 bit machine and       *
*                      is run on a 32 bit machine it results   *
*                      in a NullPointerException.              *

The startup sequence for the WASPreUpgrade tool is not valid
as the 64 bit java collected into the remote migration jar is
incompatible on the 32 bit machine.

Problem conclusion

We now test the Operating System and bit level of the java
collected against the OS and the bit level of the machine
where the WASPreUpgrade script is being run before invoking
the call to java to run the migration.

In addtion the command has been reworked to optionally collect
java into the jar file. If collected the java becomes valid
only for machines supporting the java OS and bit level
collected. If not specified the customer must provide a valid
java level on the source machine.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.5.5.11 and 9.0.0.2.  Please refer to the
